Texas Retina Associates welcomes ophthalmologist and retina specialist Timothy S. Fuller, MD, to its Dallas, Dallas North, Wichita Falls and Denton offices starting August 15, 2016.
Born, raised and trained in Texas, Dr. Fuller specializes in medical retina and ocular oncology, and most recently trained under international eye cancer research and treatment leaders Jerry A. Shields, MD, and Carol Shields, MD, at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Fuller is fluent in English and Spanish, and welcomes Spanish-speaking patients. He provides diagnosis and treatment for disorders of the retina and vitreous, including ocular melanoma, age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. In addition to completing an ocular oncology fellowship with the Shields’ at Wills Eye Hospital, he completed a medical retina fellowship at Texas Retina Associates in 2015. Dr. Fuller completed his residency at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston where he also did his internship and earned his medical degree. He has published peer-reviewed scientific papers and has served as a sub-investigator for clinical trials on retinal diseases.
