Fort Worth Office Changes: Dr. Cliff Beasley Retiring and Dr. Andrew McClellan Joining Texas Retina Associates
After 34 years of service to the community, Dr. Cliff Beasley will be retiring effective September 1, 2017. We are grateful for the tremendous care he has provided to his patients over the years and want to assure you that Texas Retina Associates remains committed to meeting the needs of our Fort Worth office patients, working to ensure a seamless transition so no one experiences any care, coverage or claims issues. To that end, ophthalmologist and retina specialist Andrew J. McClellan, MD, will be joining our practice September 1, 2017, and serving patients in the Fort Worth office. The following physicians will also continue to serve our Fort Worth office: Lee S. Anderson, MD; Wayne A. Solley, MD; and Patrick D. Williams, MD.
Dr. McClellan comes to Texas Retina Associates from top-rated Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, in Miami, Florida, where he completed both his fellowship and residency training. He completed his internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center also in Miami, and earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. A member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, Texas Medical Association, and Tarrant County Medical Society, Dr. McClellan has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in international journals and presented at international meetings. Most importantly, he shares our philosophy of providing patients with personal, attentive and professional care. Dr. McClellan will also see patients in our Wichita Falls and Grapevine offices.
As always, our Fort Worth office staff are available to answer any questions and can be reached at 817-334-0882. We wish Dr. Beasley all the best with his retirement and encourage you to extend a warm welcome to Dr. McClellan when he arrives.
