Tara Keesling and Veronica Bennett are the clinical research coordinators for our Plano office. In addition to enrolling patients in clinical trials for a number of retina conditions like diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema and uveitis, they also serve as our patients’ primary contacts throughout their participation in a study. In addition, they assist our Plano principal investigators Robert C. Wang, MD, and Lori E. Coors, MD.
Both Tara and Veronica have been part of the Texas Retina Associates team for about three years. They work closely together and truly value the relationships they build with patients.
“I love our patients,” said Veronica. “And it is very satisfying to see new treatments that may prevent blindness in them.”
When they aren’t busy helping our clinical research patients, Tara and Veronica enjoy spending time with their families.
