Since Texas Retina was founded more than 50 years ago, our physicians and leadership have fostered a family environment. As a result, we are fortunate to have numerous team members who have served our practice for 20 years or more. Today we’re celebrating Clinical Research Coordinator Laurie Griffis, who joined Texas Retina in 1988, and serves our Dallas Main office.
When asked what she loves most about Texas Retina, Laurie shared the following:
“I have had a wonderful career at Texas Retina. I have enjoyed working with our physicians — I think they are the smartest people I know. I also love my patients. They are my family and a very special part of my life. The most amazing part of this long journey has been to see all the new treatments and surgeries now available for once untreatable diseases. It has been very fulfilling, and I could not imagine working anywhere else.”
Thank you, Laurie, for more than 35 years of service to our practice. This is a tremendous achievement, and we are so grateful for you!
