As we continue to celebrate our team members who have served Texas Retina for 20+ years, today we recognize Debbie Krahl, who currently serves as a Clinical Site Coordinator and Scribe in our Wichita Falls office.
Over 25 years ago, Texas Retina established our Wichita Falls community office to make it easier for patients to access care closer to home. With general ophthalmology experience, Debbie started in our Wichita Falls office 23 years ago as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant.
“I have always found the eye fascinating and continue to enjoy and learn about the retinal aspect of eye care,” she shared. “It has been a true honor and privilege to assist the incredibly smart and compassionate physicians in the Wichita Falls location – Dr. Fuller, Dr. Spencer, Dr. Fish, Dr. Solley, Dr. McClellan and Dr. Laura.”
Debbie has seen significant changes during her 23-year Texas Retina career.
“The Wichita Falls office has doubled in size to accommodate the growing practice, we’ve transitioned from paper medical records to electronic health records, and most importantly, there have been tremendous advancements in technology and treatments,” recalled Debbie.
When asked what keeps her passionate about her work, she said:
“I love taking care of our patients. It brings me great joy assisting our wonderful physicians with restoring and maintaining patients’ vision and being part of the Texas Retina family.”
Thank you, Debbie, for your more than two decades of service. This is an incredible achievement, and we are so grateful for you and all you do!
