Texas Retina’s Robert C. Wang will speak at The Ohio State University’s 7th Annual Retina Case Forum on Friday, August 16, 2024, as an invited guest lecturer. The event is a case-based forum designed for retina physicians and ophthalmologists, featuring an open forum discussion of exceptional and challenging examples in the management of complex eye disease.
An Ohio State alumnus, Dr. Wang completed both his undergraduate and medical degrees there as well as his residency. As an undergrad, he earned the coveted Evans Scholar scholarship which provided him with full tuition for four years. “It made such a difference in my life that I continue to remain active in this program and give back to allow other students a chance to attend college,” shares Dr. Wang. “I also have a scholarship in my name at the Ohio State College of Arts and Sciences and at the medical school in the Department of Ophthalmology. I bleed scarlet and grey!”
At Texas Retina, Dr. Wang serves as director of clinical research for Plano and cares for patients in the Dallas Main, Dallas North, Plano and Sherman offices. He provides a full range of vitreoretinal care and sub-specializes in treatment of uveitis. Click here to learn more about him.
