“Our team members have always been the heart of our practice,” shares Texas Retina Associates Chief Executive Officer Jeff Brockette. “We are humbled, inspired and grateful to have so many dedicated employees who have served our patients for over a quarter of a century!”
In addition, it is with bittersweet emotion that we also announce the retirement of Fran Crawford, our Manager of Administration Services, effective January 13, 2023. She joined Texas Retina Associates 28 years ago as a medical transcriptionist and has worked her way up to her current position where she manages all the administrative support functions for the practice, serving as a bridge between staff, management, physicians, vendors and referring physicians. During Fran’s tenure, Texas Retina Associates has grown significantly, adding multiple locations and physicians.
“Fran has been such an essential part of our practice and its success for 28 years,” shares Brockette. “We always say Texas Retina Associates is a family, and we believe in treating our patients like family. ‘Aunt Fran,’ as some affectionately call her, has been an integral part of building that culture – forging meaningful connections and relationships, paying close attention to detail, troubleshooting any issues that arise and keeping our daily operations running smoothly. We will miss her terribly but wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement as she enjoys traveling, volunteering and spending more time with her friends and family.”
