Texas Retina Associates COVID Policy Update – Changes are effective Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has changed the COVID-19 safety recommendations.
We continue to follow CDC recommendations and adopt changes while maintaining our infection control and hand washing practices.
Our Texas Retina Associates locations are at a Medium Community level risk. See the community level descriptions below from the cdc.gov site.
Employees/Patients/Visitors:
Masks are no longer required for employees, patients or visitors.
Anyone who has a high risk of severe illness is encouraged to make decisions with the assistance of their physician as needed.
Patient Request:
If a patient requests staff to wear a mask, we will make every effort to honor the request.
Vendors:
Vendors will be allowed by appointment only/physician request. No drop ins.
